preparation
The specified quantity makes 3 rolls and is enough for about 2 people.- Blend the Boiled Peanuts Salted Caramel with the banana and vanilla extract in a blender.
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water.
- Put the flour and dissolved yeast into a bowl with the remaining ingredients except for the peanut mixture and knead for 5 minutes on a low setting. Then add the peanut mixture and knead for another 2 minutes on a medium setting. If the dough is too dry, add a little lukewarm water. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 2 hours at room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 220°C top/bottom heat.
- After the dough has risen, place it on a lightly floured work surface and cut off 3 pieces of dough, shape them into rounds and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover and let rise again for 10 minutes.
- Spray the dough pieces with water, cut them and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Place the rolls in the preheated oven and immediately steam the oven with water (spray water into the oven a few times).
- Bake the rolls for 16-18 minutes until golden brown, depending on the oven, with the oven door slightly open for the last 2 minutes.
- After baking, let the rolls cool on a rack.
It is best to serve rolls while they are still lukewarm. They taste great with a sweet spread.
